1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Dr. DryClean (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) and the customer (“You”, “Your”, “Customer”) availing any of our services.

By submitting garments, placing an order, visiting our store, booking online, scheduling a pickup, or communicating via WhatsApp/phone/email, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:

  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Sale of Goods Act, 1930
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 & IT (Amendment) Act, 2008
  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.


2. SERVICES OFFERED

Dr. DryClean provides the following professional garment and fabric care services:

  • Dry Cleaning — Chemical solvent-based cleaning for delicate and sensitive fabrics
  • Laundry & Washing — Machine and hand wash with professional-grade detergents
  • Steam Ironing & Pressing — Industrial steam pressing for a crease-free finish
  • Stain Removal Treatment — Targeted treatment for specific stain types using professional agents
  • Bridal & Wedding Wear — Specialized handling, cleaning, and packaging of high-value occasion wear
  • Blankets, Quilts & Curtains — Bulk fabric cleaning using appropriate techniques
  • Leather & Suede Care — Professional treatment and conditioning for leather and suede items
  • Shoe Cleaning & Polishing — Deep cleaning, conditioning, and polish for all footwear types
  • Free Collection & Delivery — Convenient doorstep pickup and drop for homes and businesses

We reserve the right to refuse service on any item that we, in our professional judgment, deem unsafe, hazardous, or inappropriate for processing — including but not limited to items contaminated with biological matter, severely deteriorated garments, or items bearing undisclosed damage.


3. ORDER PLACEMENT & GARMENT SUBMISSION

3.1 Orders may be placed online via our website (www.drdryclean.in), by calling or messaging on WhatsApp at +91-72969-32400, or by visiting our store directly. Online booking is available and can be completed in 60 seconds.

3.2 A Garment Receipt / Job Card will be issued at the time of acceptance of items. This document serves as the official record of:

  • Number and description of items submitted
  • Requested service(s)
  • Declared condition of garments
  • Estimated delivery date and applicable charges

3.3 The customer must verify the item count and description on the Job Card at the time of submission or pickup. Dr. DryClean shall not entertain claims of missing or incorrect items after the receipt has been signed or acknowledged.

3.4 Any pre-existing damage, stains, loose embellishments, broken buttons, fraying seams, or special care instructions must be disclosed at the time of submission. Failure to disclose such details shall absolve Dr. DryClean of any liability for resulting damage.

3.5 For collection & delivery orders, the customer must ensure items are properly packed and ready at the agreed time. Dr. DryClean shall not be held responsible for items handed over to unauthorized persons on the customer’s premises.

3.6 Dr. DryClean does not accept responsibility for items left without a valid Job Card or receipt.


4. CARE LABELS & FABRIC RISK DISCLOSURE

4.1 Dr. DryClean follows standard textile care label instructions as per the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and international ISO care labelling norms (ISO 3758).

4.2 Certain garments carry inherent risks during professional cleaning, including:

  • Vintage, antique, or aged fabrics
  • Heavily embellished, sequined, or beaded garments
  • Fabrics with pre-weakened fibres, colour bleeding tendencies, or undisclosed blends
  • Items with non-colourfast dyes or non-standard construction

4.3 Where such risk is identified, the customer will be informed before processing begins. If the customer instructs Dr. DryClean to proceed despite the stated risk, any resulting damage shall be the sole responsibility of the customer, and no refund or compensation shall be applicable.


5. PRICING & PAYMENT

5.1 Service charges are communicated at the time of order placement and reflected on the Job Card/invoice.

5.2 Dr. DryClean reserves the right to revise its pricing. Any revision applicable to an existing order will require the customer’s prior consent.

5.3 Payment may be accepted via cash, UPI, net banking, or any other mode offered by Dr. DryClean at the time of delivery, pickup, or online booking.

5.4 Advance payments shall be adjusted against the final bill. No advance payment is refundable except as provided in our Refund Policy.

5.5 GST and other applicable government levies shall be charged as per prevailing statutory rates and shown separately on the invoice.


6. FREE COLLECTION & DELIVERY

6.1 Dr. DryClean offers free collection and delivery services within our designated service areas. Availability of this service is subject to location and may be confirmed at the time of booking.

6.2 Collection and delivery timeslots will be communicated at the time of booking. The customer must ensure availability at the agreed time.

6.3 Dr. DryClean shall not be liable for failed pickups or deliveries due to incorrect address information, customer unavailability, restricted access to premises, or circumstances beyond our control.

6.4 Re-scheduling of collection/delivery must be requested at least 2 hours in advance via WhatsApp or phone.


7. TURNAROUND TIME

7.1 Standard turnaround times are communicated at the time of order. Express or priority services may be available at additional charges.

7.2 Dr. DryClean shall not be liable for delays caused by electricity or water disruptions, extreme weather, public holidays, local shutdowns (bandhs), or any other Force Majeure event.

7.3 Delivery timelines are estimates and shall not be construed as guaranteed commitments unless explicitly stated in writing.

7.4 Customers will be notified via WhatsApp/phone when their order is ready.


8. UNCOLLECTED GARMENTS

8.1 Customers are expected to collect their garments or accept delivery within 30 days of the ready notification.

8.2 Dr. DryClean will send reminders at 15 days and 25 days.

8.3 Garments not collected within 90 days of notification shall be deemed abandoned, and Dr. DryClean shall not entertain any claims on such items. They may be disposed of without further notice.

8.4 Storage charges may apply beyond 30 days, at rates communicated at the time of order.


9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 In the event of loss or damage to a garment caused by the proven negligence of Dr. DryClean, our maximum liability is limited to 10 (ten) times the service charge for that specific item, or the fair market value of the garment — whichever is lower.

9.2 Dr. DryClean shall not be liable for:

  • Sentimental value, brand premiums, or undisclosed monetary value of garments
  • Damage resulting from pre-existing defects or undisclosed conditions
  • Shrinkage or colour loss due to defective or non-standard fabric composition
  • Claims raised beyond 24 hours of delivery

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 Disputes must first be raised with our customer care team at customarcare@drdryclean.in or +91-72969-32400.

10.2 Unresolved disputes may be referred to the appropriate Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or to mediation as mutually agreed.

10.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.


11. AMENDMENTS

Dr. DryClean reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and communicated through appropriate channels. Continued use of our services after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
